Georgian Green Student Residence - Barrie

Worst place ever!! Please donot stay here, the office staff are the worst !!!

My car was damaged in the parking lot due to the garbage bin doors opening and hitting the side of my vehicle, although fault was admitted I cannot get a email back to compensate for my damages, I did have a good experience but the lack of communication is very unprofessional.

I stayed in that place years ago. After four years living in Canada, I have never seen anybody speak to people worse than this place's manager.

If you are a concerned parent, or an adult, consider the following before choosing Georgian Green Student Residence:1. Unprofessional staff. Georgian Green Property Management does not treat the student tenants with respect, especially when it pertains to front desk administration. I would place their credentials into question. The receptionist is impolite, confrontational, and lacks basic social etiquette.2. Poor communication skills. If you formally correspond with Property management about an issue, you will not hear back from them in a punctual manner. This goes back to a lack of unprofessional behaviour.3. Dated infrastructure. The bathrooms, appliances, plumbing, counter tops and stoves have damage. The bathrooms specifically do not have working air ventilation systems. The windows bring in a cold draft during winter. The sinks in the bathrooms and kitchen leaks. Each room does have personal heating which is good. However AC is limited to the common area of each unit. When there is a need to fix items due to natural ware, instead of using professionals, they will use Resident Assistants to come in who do not carry any electrical, plumbing, or renovation licenses.4. Unhygienic and dated furnishings. Some rooms have unclean, and damaged bed mattresses.5. Lack of accountability when addressing issues. The unfavourable rating of this establishment, and the majority of the responses given is a testament to the professionalism, and honesty of Georgian Green Student Residence. Their ability to run the property since 1989 is due to proximity to the College Campus, not due to quality of service. I am sorry to say.

Nice place to be hold. If there is anything more than five 5 star, I would have given. They more than deserve it. Keep it up guys!

The worst experience for a student and parents. They are not transparent and don’t provide any name of a responsible person who can provide support. Their only interest is to take students money but don’t care about their well-being.
